French Provincial Tall Case Clock, C. 1820 Description: French Provincial Inlaid Fruitwood Tall Case Clock, Circa 1800-20; featuring an arched bonnet over a porcelain and roman numerically painted face with a repousse brass surround; the case with parquetry panels, an oval window in the door revealing the pendulum, and the sides canted and inlaid with burled elm and contrasting stringing. Condition: is fantastic overall. minor work to case at sides of top. originally with a glass dome in the door, now missing.
